FEES & PRACTICES

Seagram & Associates offers mental health assessments and counselling on a fee-for-service model. Our fees are often covered by private health insurance.

When possible we will bill directly to your insurance company.  These include but are not limited to Blue Cross, Sun Life, Great West Life, Manulife, Telus Health, NIHB, VAC amongst others.  Please contact the office for more information.

How do I know if my insurance/EAP program covers your fees?

Before you come to see us, we encourage you to review your policy, or contact your provider to find out whether psychological treatments are covered.

How much does it cost?

As of October 1, 2024, the hourly rate for psychology services will be $225 and the hourly rate for social work services will be $160, the hourly rate for services with graduate level students will be $40. The fee for services with a registered counselling therapist is $160. A sliding fee scale is available for clients who may not have the financial resources to seek treatment. Fees for Missed Appointments or Appointments Canceled Without Sufficient Notice

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please allow us 24-hours’ notice so that we may fill time reserved for you with someone from our waiting list.  There is no fee for the first missed appointment as we understand that sometimes we are all human and make mistakes.  Subsequent missed appointments may result in a partial session fee.  There will be no late penalties for illness.
