Natasha Buchanan is a registered psychologist specializing in consultation, assessment, and intervention for individuals with learning and attentional challenges. She has extensive experience working with learning disabilities and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Natasha earned her Master of Arts in School Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2011 and is passionate about helping individuals better understand how they learn and succeed.
Natasha provides comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She evaluates cognitive, academic, emotional, and executive functioning to identify factors contributing to learning or attentional difficulties. Her approach focuses not only on identifying challenges, but also on emphasizing strengths. Following each assessment, she offers clear recommendations and practical strategies to help foster learning, self-assurance, and overall well-being.
In addition to psychoeducational assessment services, Natasha provides therapy to children aged 13 and under. She uses a creative and engaging approach that incorporates art-based activities and therapeutic games. Her area of focus commonly addresses difficulties with learning, attention, impulsivity, emotional regulation, and social skills.
